Over 30 swimmers from across 4 squads competed to the best of their ability at this popular gala, bringing home a grand total of 23 medals; over 40 other top 10 places were achieved and an astounding 90+ pbs were smashed! Read more →Nine members of the squad attended the NW Regional Special Olympics in Liverpool on 16 May 2022. Some brilliant swims were achieved with a total of 11 personal best times, and a total of 2 gold, 9 silver and 4 bronze medals won. A brilliant atmosphere and another event where our swimmers continue to amaze us – proud of being Team BOK.

Read more →Twenty-eight swimmers from the BOK squads competed at Ponds Forge, Sheffield, at the Spring Derventio Excel meet on 19th and 20th March weekend. Qualifying times for the event were tough as this is a highly competitive, fast weekend with elite swimmers competing from clubs from far and wide across the country. Read more →28 club swimmers make Yorkshire finals and win a total of 34 medals At the 2022 Yorkshire Swimming Championships in February, BOK brought home a whopping 34 medals. In all, around 40 children from across the squads qualified with 28 of those reaching the finals in their age-group category events. Swimmers met in Leeds and Sheffield for the annual event. Entry was by way of achieving qualifying times, and races were staged for all age groups, from 10 to 17+ years, in a range of distances from 50m sprints to 1500m long-distance events.
